CITY OF AUBURN NOTICE TO VOTERS SCHOOL BUDGET VALIDATION REFERENDUM ELECTION TUESDAY, JUNE 8, 2021 The following locations have been established as polling places within the City: Wards 1 & 2 Auburn Senior Community Center, 48 Pettengill Park Road Ward 3 & 4 Auburn Hall, 60 Court Street Ward 5 Boy's & Girl's Club, 43 Second Street Polls open at 7:00 A.M. and close at 8:00 P.M. All polling places are accessible to voters with disabilities. Voters must vote in the correct polling place and are encouraged to call the City Clerk's office at 333-6601, ext. 1124 if you are not sure of your voting place. Absentee ballots are currently available in the City Clerk's office. Office hours of the City Clerk/ Registrar of Voters are 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. We will be offering extended hours for voter registration and absentee voting on Thursday, June 3, 2021 and Friday, June 4, 2021. We will be open on June 3, 2021 from 8:30 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Friday, June 4, 2021 from 8:30 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. The deadline for requesting an absentee ballot by mail or by phone is the close of business on Thursday, June 3, 2021. The last day to vote an absentee ballot in person at Auburn Hall in the presence of the Clerk is Friday, June 4, 2021. In accordance with Title 21-A, Section 121-A, you are hereby notified that as of May 19, 2021, voter registration will only be accepted from applicants who appear in person. Residents may register to vote at their polling place on Election Day. Proof of identity and Auburn residency is required. The law also requires that when a voter's name or address changes, the voter must notify the Registrar of such change.
