Rainbow Federal Credit Union was founded in Lewiston, Maine in 1956.  The small town neighborhoods that used to exist when we were first chartered in the 1950’s were special; we knew each other, we interacted with one another, and we watched out for each other.

We have grown from that small credit union in Lewiston to a multi-location credit union today, with branches in Auburn, Mechanic Falls and South Paris.  We may be larger now, but we remain true to the principles we started out with: helping members succeed.  As a member of Rainbow FCU, you become a part of our family.
