VOTER REGISTRATION HOURS In accordance with MRSA, Title 21-A, Section 122, Subsection 6, A(2), you are hereby notified that as of Wednesday, July 8, 2020, voter registrations will only be accepted from applicants who appear in person. Proof of identity and Lewiston residency are required. The Office will be open during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The law also requires that when a voter's address changes, the voter must notify the Registrar of such change. Residents may register to vote at the polling place on election day and proof of identity and Lewiston residency is required. CHANGING POLITICAL PARTY ENROLLMENT The state deadline to change political parties in order to vote in the primary election is 4:00pm on Monday, June 29, 2020. Voters who are unenrolled in a political party may enroll in a political party at the polling place on election day.
