PUBLIC NOTICE City of Lewiston Clty or City or Cwisto enjston Voter Registration Presidential and State Election Tuesday, November 3, 2020 VOTER REGISTRATION HOURS In accordance with MRSA, Title 21-A, Sec 122, ss 6, A(2), residents are hereby notified that as of October 20, 2020, voter registrations will only be accepted from applicants who appear in person. Proof of identity and Lewiston residency are required. The Registrar of Voters will be open during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and extended hours on Thursday, October 22 and Tuesday, October 27 until 7pm; Saturday, October 24 from 9:00am - 12noon and Friday, October 30 until 5pm, but will not accept any application for registration taken at places other than the City Clerk's Office. The law also requires that when a voter's address changes, the voter must notify the Registrar of such change. Residents may register to vote at their polling place on election day and proof of identity and Lewiston residency is required. Given the building occupancy limits due to the pandemic, voters are strongly encouraged to take care of their voter registration services in advance of election day if possible. Kathleen M.
